As a muralist, plasterer, faux finisher, or wall coverings creator, you actually need a client to say “Yes!” three different times to go from someone saying “that’s cool” to “let’s do this!”

In this hands-on workshop we’ll clarify your marketing and sales process so you’ve got the ingredients that will help folks:
- Know what you do and who you do it for.
- Realize they can actually have your work and understand what it’ll take to get it.
- Navigate the scary process of commissioning custom work so fear, decision fatigue, and feeling overwhelmed don’t keep them from buying from you
By the end of the workshop you’ll feel ready to tell people what you do! You’ll be able to educate them on the process of working with you, help them understand the value of hiring *you* to do the work, and successfully guide your client to a happy installation!
We will discuss building out of a job, into a business, and striving for an asset.

Jason Paris is a Minnesota native who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in economics. His dream was always to pursue owning his own business, and while completing his business studies he was introduced to the painting industry through a college program where he managed painting crews and sales. After graduating, he was equipped with the skills and industry knowledge to launch his own painting business, Paris Painting, which quickly grew into an industry leader as an example of how professionalized painting businesses can excel and scale. Since then, Jason’s business ventures have continued to diversify into multiple equity positions in painting businesses across the country through Aleph Holdings. As a family man, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and five children as well as participating in his local and church communities. Jason has served as a former Chair of the PCA and is the current Chair of the PCA Education Foundation.
